Honours
Students who have completed 48 units of credit in Development Studies, including all compulsory courses, at a good credit average or better may subject to the permission of the Development Studies Coordinator, be admitted to enrol in a single Honours program in Development Studies. Applicants for the Combined Honours must in addition meet the admission requirements for an additional single Honours in one of the Schools, Departments or other Programs taught in the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Social Science programs. If these requirements are met and with the approval of the relevant School, Department, or Program students can complete an Honours thesis on an agreed Development Studies or an interdisciplinary topic. Students may enroll full or part time.

Students Rights and Responsibilities
The School Handbooks contain the details about the rules and procedures for the Development Studies courses offered by each School. Students must make themselves aware of these and conform to them. The Handbooks contain specific details of the rules for special consideration, plagiarism and grievance procedures that are applied and these supplement the UNSW rules relating to academic misconduct etc.
